Why is State Question 840 Important for Oklahoma

Legislative power has been stolen by House and Senate leadership who are beholden to special interest groups and DARK MONEY donors.

You are being denied representation because the Speaker of the House and Senate Pro Temp control committee chairs, committee assignments, bill assignments and actively block legislation from being heard or receiving a vote. If your legislator does not play according to THEIR rules and support THEIR causes, they do not get to participate in the process. Which means YOU are not represented and defended in the legislature.

This means that bills that run counter to leadership's agenda never see the light of day. These bills are often those that would benefit our society the most and defend our liberty the best. Leadership and special interests do not want this, because it reduces their power and the flow of money to them.

State Question 840 prohibits the denial of representation by guaranteeing that every legislator has the right to run at least 3 bills that must be heard and receive a vote every year. No more discrimination. No more political games.
